Additional Information

Playa Santana is a favorite surfing and fishing destination for both guests and residents. For those who wish to enjoy a beach with the most amenities nearby, Playa Santana meets those expectations as The Inn, clubhouse, and pool bar & cabanas are only steps away.

Playa Rosada is a quaint, pink sand, land-locked beach. The Pool House and La Boquita, one of the newest dining venues, is located here. A perfect beach for the avid shell collector or to enjoy a beautiful sunset, barbecue or picnic.

Playa Escondida is known as the “hidden beach.” It is a long stretch of sand land-locked within the Rancho Santana grounds, and is practically cut off from the world. You won’t have to worry about lack of privacy here as it’s not uncommon to have the beach all to yourself. Be sure to check out the Sea Turtle Preservation when visiting.

Playa Duna is another land-locked beach within the compound. Very few people have ever been on it as it requires some hiking and climbing to reach. However, as difficult as the climb may be, your efforts are rewarded with stunning rock formations and famous dunes.

Playa Los Perros is the southernmost beach and nearly four miles long. You can visit the Beach & Surf Club for you to rent the perfect surfboard for an afternoon surf lesson. With virtually no rocks along the beautiful white sands, it is one of Nicaragua’s best swimming beaches.
